Meet Mary
RSW and MSW

I have been a Registered Social Worker since 2019 and I am mom to three awesome kids. I have been working in social services for nearly a decade, with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental or learning disabilities. I believe that clients come to therapy as the experts in what is going on in their lives and that my job is to listen and validate your experiences. I am passionate about supporting my clients to figure out a better path forward by drawing on all the skills they already have, building community connections and support and strengthening family relationships.
My primary approaches to therapy are Compassion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR and have experience supporting kids through this process. My clinical experience includes working with clients who have experienced trauma, with a particular focus on childhood sexual abuse and challenging family situations, borderline personality disorder and other emotion regulation concerns, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation, in addition to supporting teens who are exploring their gender identity. I am available both for individual work with kids and to see families all together.
In my free time, I love to get outside with my husband, kids and dogs. I also have a bit of a true crime podcast obsession and have absolutely no shame in the amount I know about Rebel, Chase and the rest of the Paw Patrol crew.
